Owners can recoup $ returning to finish this season. They still have lots of TV $$ they can get.

You can't play 10 extra games. The sport is too physical.

Nice job, Anthony.

It sucks because the Bruins look so good this year, but just end it.

Of course writing off the season comes from a fan who's team is going nowhere this season. I'm sure the tune would be different if the Hawks were in first place right now. Every effort should be made to salvage the season.

I'd say the overseas opening games for next season are gone. Which sucks, since that's how the 2010 season started. It sounded like the players were looking forward to playing in Prague. Obviously Krech and Pasta would have loved it but I seriously doubt that is going to happen now.
